Target user access
The User management section on a target shows all users who have access to the target. You can assign new users, review individual permissions, and remove users.
View user access
To view who has access to a target:
- Select Targets from the left-side menu.
- Click the target name to open the target.
- Select the Settings tab and choose User management.
The list shows all users with access to the target along with their assigned permissions.
Assign a user
To give a user access to the target:
- On the User management tab, click Assign new user.
- Use the drop-down to specify the user.
- Confirm the assignment by clicking Save.
The user now appears in the access list with their permissions.
Remove a user
To remove a user's access to a target, you must have the required access permissions. If you do not have sufficient permissions, the remove option is not available.
To remove a user:
- Select Targets from the left-side menu.
- Click the target name to open the target.
- Select the Settings tab and choose User management.
- Find the user you want to remove and click Remove.
- Confirm the action.
View permissions
To view the permissions of a specific user:
- Select Targets from the left-side menu.
- Click the target name to open the target.
- Select the Settings tab and choose User management.
- Locate the user and click View Permissions on the right side.
- The permissions modal displays all resource categories and their access levels, such as:
- Read
- Write
- Delete
- Export
If you have write permission for User management, you can also edit permissions directly from this view.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
Reset permissions to default
To revert a user's permissions to the default settings for their role:
- Select Targets from the left-side menu.
- Click the target name to open the target.
- Select the Settings tab and choose User management.
- Locate the user and click View Permissions on the right side.
- Click Reset to Default.
This removes any custom permission changes and restores the default access levels defined by the user's role.
