After upgrading from Acunetix to Invicti Platform, we carry over your Azure Boards integration with additional validation to ensure compatibility with Azure Boards' Work Item model.

Invicti Platform retrieves real Work Item field definitions and automatically highlights required fields, improving accuracy compared to Acunetix.

Field configuration behavior

In Acunetix: You entered Azure Boards work item fields as free text.

In Invicti Platform:

  • We retrieve the actual Work Item fields directly from Azure Boards
  • Required fields are automatically shown and validated
  • We filter out invalid or removed fields during the upgrade

2. What to review after the upgrade

Although our upgrade process handles required fields automatically, we recommend reviewing your Azure Boards integration once, especially if your Azure Boards project contains:

  • Custom Work item types
  • Organization-specific required fields
  • Recently added or modified fields

This ensures everything aligns with your Azure Boards schema and prevents ticket creation interruptions.

  2. Confirm the fields match your organization's Work Item configuration
  3. You usually won't need major changes unless you've modified fields on the Azure Boards side
