Delete role

You can delete custom roles that are no longer needed. If users are currently assigned to the role, you must reassign them to another role before the deletion can proceed.

note

Built-in roles (Admin, Manager, Product Owner, Team Lead, Developer, Pentester) cannot be deleted.

Steps to delete a custom role

1. Select Users and teams > Roles from the left side menu.
2. Click the delete icon in the Actions column for the custom role you want to remove.
3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
4. If users are currently assigned to the role, select another role to reassign them to, then confirm.
