Reset role permissions to default

If you have amended a role's permissions and want to restore them to their original state, you can reset the permissions to the default configuration for that role's privilege level.

Steps to reset role permissions

1. Select Users and teams > Roles from the left side menu.
2. Click the permissions icon in the Actions column for the role you want to reset.
3. Click Reset to Default in the permissions modal.

All resource permissions for the role are restored to their default values.

caution

This action resets all permission changes you have made to this role. Any custom permission adjustments are lost.
