Target scans

The scans section displays a list of all scans performed on the target, organized into two tabs: Completed and Failed.

To view target scans:

  1. Select Targets from the left-side menu.
  2. Click the target name to open the target.
  3. Select the Scans tab.

Scans table

Each scan row displays the following information:

ColumnDescription
Scan dateThe date and time the scan was executed.
ScannerThe scanner tool used for the scan.
Scan typeThe type of scan (for example, DAST, API).
MetadataCustom metadata associated with the scan.
DurationThe time taken to complete the scan.
Critical / High / Medium / LowThe number of vulnerabilities discovered at each severity level.
ActionAvailable actions for the scan.

Use the filters at the top of the table to narrow down results.

caution

The vulnerability counts shown for each scan reflect the number of vulnerabilities discovered at scan time. Changes made to vulnerabilities after the scan (such as severity overrides) are not reflected in this view.

Available actions

  • View vulnerabilities: click the Vulnerabilities button in the Action column to view the list of vulnerabilities discovered in a specific scan.
  • Rescan: click the Rescan button in the Action column to re-execute a scan. Available for both completed and failed scans.
note

The rescan option is not available for manual scans or scans where the scanner tool was turned off.

  • Compare scans: select two scans using the checkboxes in the table, then click Compare to view a side-by-side comparison of scan results.
  • Export scans: export the scans table data to a file. The export respects any filters currently applied.
  • Start an instant scan: select the scanner from the dropdown and click Start Scan. You are redirected to the scans queue to monitor progress.
