Trigger a rescan
You can rerun a completed or failed scan with the same parameters by triggering a rescan. The new scan is added to the scan queue with a Rescan scan type and runs with the same configuration as the original scan, including the branch, scanner, and metadata.
Rescan a completed scan
- Select Scans from the left-side menu.
- Click the Completed tab.
- Find the scan you want to rerun.
- Click Rescan in the Action column.
- Confirm the rescan.
Rescan a failed scan
- Select Scans from the left-side menu.
- Click the Failed tab.
- Find the scan you want to retry.
- Click Rescan in the Action column.
- Confirm the rescan.
tip
You can also trigger a rescan from the project-level Scans tab under a specific project.
Restrictions
You can't trigger a rescan in the following cases:
- Manually imported scans: scans created from manual file imports don't support rescanning.
- Disabled scanners: if the scanner tool has been disabled, the Rescan button is unavailable.
note
Bulk rescan isn't supported. You can only rescan one scan at a time.
