Trigger a rescan

You can rerun a completed or failed scan with the same parameters by triggering a rescan. The new scan is added to the scan queue with a Rescan scan type and runs with the same configuration as the original scan, including the branch, scanner, and metadata.

Rescan a completed scan

  1. Select Scans from the left-side menu.
  2. Click the Completed tab.
  3. Find the scan you want to rerun.
  4. Click Rescan in the Action column.
  5. Confirm the rescan.

Rescan a failed scan

  1. Select Scans from the left-side menu.
  2. Click the Failed tab.
  3. Find the scan you want to retry.
  4. Click Rescan in the Action column.
  5. Confirm the rescan.
tip

You can also trigger a rescan from the project-level Scans tab under a specific project.

Restrictions

You can't trigger a rescan in the following cases:

  • Manually imported scans: scans created from manual file imports don't support rescanning.
  • Disabled scanners: if the scanner tool has been disabled, the Rescan button is unavailable.
note

Bulk rescan isn't supported. You can only rescan one scan at a time.
