View queued scans

The scan queue shows scans scheduled for the next 24 hours and those completed in the last 5 minutes. Use this page to monitor scan progress and cancel scans that are no longer needed.

  1. Select Scans from the left-side menu.
  2. The Queue tab is open at default for you.

Scan stages

Each scan progresses through the following stages:

  1. Waiting: the scan is queued and waiting for an available slot.
  2. Starting: the scan is being initialized.
  3. Running: the scanner is actively scanning.
  4. Retrieving results: Invicti AppSec is collecting results from the scanner.
  5. Analyzing: the results are being processed.
  6. Notifying: alerts and notifications are being sent.
  7. Finished: the scan is complete and moves to the Completed scans tab.

A status legend in the upper-right corner of the page shows these stages so you can see how many processing phases remain before a scan is complete.

note

Imports don't have a preparation stage and start directly from the Retrieving results stage.

Concurrency settings

Invicti AppSec processes a limited number of scans and imports simultaneously. When the number of active scans exceeds this limit, additional scans enter the queue and remain in a Waiting state until a slot becomes available.

To configure the maximum number of simultaneous scans, go to Automation > Setup > Global Settings and adjust the Concurrency settings.
