View failed scans
The failed scans page shows a list of all scans that didn't complete successfully, along with the reason for each failure. Use this page to identify issues and retry scans.
Navigate to failed scans
- Select Scans from the left-side menu.
- Click the Failed tab.
Table columns
The failed scans table displays the following columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Date | The date and time the scan was started. |
| Failed on | The date and time the scan failed. |
| Scanner | The scanning tool used for the scan. |
| Scan type | The type of scan (for example, SAST, DAST, SCA). |
| Project / Profile | The project or profile associated with the scan. |
| Branch | The branch that was being scanned. |
| Meta data | Additional metadata associated with the scan. |
| Reason | The error message explaining why the scan failed. Hover over the text to see the full message. |
| Action | Available actions for the scan. |
Filter scans
You can filter failed scans by the following criteria:
- Branch: filter by branch name.
- Meta data: filter by scan metadata.
- Project / Profile: filter by project or profile name.
- Scanner: filter by scanning tool.
- Team: filter by team.
You can also use the search box to search for a specific project or profile by name.
Available actions
- Rescan: retry a failed scan with the same parameters. For more information, see Trigger a rescan.
- Start instant scan: start a new scan immediately. For more information, see Start an instant scan.
- Export: export the failed scans data.
