Flags
Create and assign flags
In Invicti AppSec, you can create multiple flags from the Setup menu and assign them to vulnerabilities. Flags help categorize vulnerabilities for better tracking and management.
Add flags to vulnerabilities
Multiple flag assignment
- You can assign multiple flags to a single vulnerability
- Bulk flag assignment is supported, allowing you to apply flags to multiple vulnerabilities at once
- By default, Admins and Team Leads can add or remove flags from vulnerabilities
Access control
Flag management permissions are controlled through user roles, ensuring proper access control for vulnerability categorization activities.
Filter and automate with flags
Filtering capabilities
You can filter vulnerabilities based on the flags assigned to them, making it easier to focus on specific vulnerability categories or priorities.
Automation rules
Flags can be used to define automation rules, enabling streamlined vulnerability management. This allows you to set up automated workflows based on flag criteria.
Sync flags with issue managers
If enabled, the flags assigned to vulnerabilities can automatically be pushed as labels to the issue manager for better integration and tracking. This ensures consistency between your vulnerability management in Invicti AppSec and your external issue tracking systems.
Benefits
- Improved organization: Categorize vulnerabilities for better tracking and management
- Efficient processing: Use bulk assignment to apply flags to multiple vulnerabilities simultaneously
- Enhanced filtering: Quickly locate specific vulnerability types using flag-based filters
